The EMEA Finance Manager provides both operational and financial support to the Europe Middle-east and Africa organisation. The role supervises the finance function in the UK and influences country reporting in European directly owned Subsidiaries. The EMEA Finance Manager directly assists the Functional Heads on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to accounting, financial planning and analysis, audit, tax, treasury, credit, etc. Responsibilities will include:

Be the owner of EMEA shared service functions with the accurate and timely management accounts, forecast, budget and multi-year plan updates. Monitor performance against these plans and recommend actions for improvement.

Day to day supervision of Accounting, Accounts Payable, Credit and Germany and Spain Finance Managers ensuring best practice and identifying opportunities to implement operational efficiencies.

Prepare timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis and ad hoc reporting as requested by US and EMEA leadership. Includes variance analysis on all financial statements.

Manage the consolidation of the EMEA accounts and ensure that they are correctly recognised according to local and US GAAP rules by the parent company in the US.

Interface with the Legal and Compliance function to ensure all business matters are in accordance with Corporate and statutory requirements. Preparation and submission of the Quarterly VAT returns.

Ensure implementation and maintenance of agreed financial processes and systems which meet the requirements of all parts of the business. Develop and maintain systems of internal controls.
