Global Accounting Network has partnered with a leading FTSE 100 property business to add a qualified financial accountant to their successful team.
This role would be ideally suited to someone coming out of practice, and looking for their first role in industry in a company has an open culture and encourages internal movement and progression. The role centres around the timely production of the subsidiary statutory accounts, but will also include accounting for bank covenants.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Producing year end accounts
- Being the point of contact for the auditors, liaising and preparing submissions
- Coordinating with internal teams (tax, secretarial) to bring accounts to sign off stage
- Tagging accounts or iXBRL
- Maintaining the progress log for each company
- Preparing covenant accounts for banks
- Review of accounts supplied by JV partners
Successful candidates will match the following
- ACA qualified accountant
- Strong academic record, including at least a 2:1 university degree (or equivalent)
- Experience working under IFRS
- Advance Excel skills
