Group Systems & Planning Manager
TI Automotive is a highly diversified, global automotive supplier with corporate offices in the US operating in 122 manufacturing locations in 29 countries. The group operates in the global automotive market and sells products directly to automobile manufacturers and into the aftermarket.
The company’s innovative technology, a deep and broad product line and commitment to the needs of its customers, enables them to meet the highest standards for fuel economy, performance and safety for automotive fluid storage, carrying and delivery systems. In 2015 TI Automotive was acquired by leading private investment firm, Bain Capital LP, and in 2016 generated €3.3b in revenues. A new role has been created within the Group Finance team in Oxford. TI Automotive currently uses a TM1 based consolidation system to manage management and statutory reporting. Leading a small team you will manage the day to day operation of the system and review the future support required to maintain that system or indeed replace it to improve functionality and controls. As a key stakeholder for any future implementation you will have had exposure to other current consolidation systems. As the systems expert in the team you will develop a thorough understanding of the company’s existing consolidation system and associated activities and manage the IT infrastructure supporting that system. You will manage and perform system maintenance and updates as required while maintaining a robust control environment ensuring appropriate monitoring activities are undertaken for month-end close to provide assurance on the accuracy and quality of data submissions. You will drive continuous improvement in current and future processes and broaden the scope of the current team to include other significant financial applications in the group. The successful candidate will be a technically strong accountant with an in depth, practical knowledge of financial consolidation systems (HFM preferred) in a public company environment and ideally have experience of the design and implementation of consolidation systems. You will have excellent organisation and communication skills and be a motivated individual with the ability to engage others. Strong leadership capabilities, particularly related to developing, communicating, training and monitoring of new processes are vital as well as quick thinking, a methodical approach and the ability to solve problems quickly. In return TI Automotive offers an excellent salary and benefits package as well as a professional environment with the challenges that come in working for a dynamic, international business.
