Brighton Housing Trust is seeking to appoint a new Director of Finance and Resources. Brighton Housing Trust is a housing and homelessness charity which is steadfast in its reputation and ambition to deliver services of excellence.

BHT operates in Brighton and Hove, Eastbourne and Hastings providing a range of housing, advice and support services for homeless, excluded, and vulnerable people.  It owns homes in Brighton and Hastings and leases several hundred other homes from private landlords. It employs over 200 members of staff and works with over 6,000 individuals annually.

The Director is a key member of Brighton Housing Trust’s executive team leading on financial strategy, financial risk management, operational and financial performance. With senior leadership experience you will be responsible for optimising the organisations financial position through effective financial management, Value for Money and providing expert constructive challenge and advice to income generation and sustainable growth strategies.

This is a post with huge influence and impact, so will suit someone who is collaborative and looking to make their mark. You will oversee and direct the effective implementation of the Trust’s IT strategy, act as Company Secretary, and be responsible for much of the organisation’s central resources.
