Financial Controller – Supply Chain

The Company

My client is one of the world's leading FMCG companies, offering truly iconic and global brands to the consumer market. Innovative and forward thinking they have a reputation for quality and service excellence with many products in leading category markets. The need has arisen to recruit a Financial Controller providing primary finance support to the Executive Management team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide primary finance support to the Site Operations Manager and Site Management team, through evaluating and contributing towards site projects.
• Manage & motivate an established finance team taking full responsibility for the factory financial reporting and performance including financial plan, forecasting and managing the monthly reporting process.
• Provide analysis of the Financial performance of the site, enabling clear explanation and demonstration of target setting to the Supply Chain Exec Management team.
• Support the Executive Management team in future strategic decisions ensuring improved factory performance cost savings and efficiency projects.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified CIMA/ACCA or ACA with significant experience of Key manufacturing topics, Materials and Manufacturing Variances, Fixed Costs reviews and labour analysis.
• Proven experience of managing and leading a project orientated team.
• Strong IT Skills covering SAP, AS400 based accounting systems and advanced Excel.
• An experienced manager with good leadership and motivational skills, attention to detail and an analytical, investigative approach.
• Career minded individual interested in working with members of a cross function executive team, linking finance to Supply Chain.
