Internal Audit Manager

My client is a FTSE 100 company with a strong track record of growth via acquisition. They have an international internal audit presence, with teams in 4 regions, and are now searching for an experienced Audit Manager to join the EMEA function in London. Reporting to the Internal Audit Director, you will lead and manage a small team here, taking a hands on role in financial audits as well as having key involvement in the strategy of the function, annual audit plan, and overall approach. You will also be a "chief of staff" for the global internal audit team. You can expect to have direct contact with senior stakeholders, working in partnership with them to advise on best practice and reduce key risks. The role involves 30-40% travel on an international basis.
The CEO is keen to attract an individual who is interested in moving into a core finance function in 2 years' time, and as such you will be an ambitious personality demonstrating success in your career to date. The successful candidate will be ACA / ACCA / IIA qualified and have a strong track record in external (Big 4) audit or internal (commercial) audit.
