Chief Accountant

Internationally renowned and a leader in its field, my client is looking to bolster its group finance team by appointing a technically competent Chief Accountant. The key aspects of the role will be:-

* Preparation of the consolidated group reporting
* Management of the full year and interim external financial statements,
* Act as the technical centre of excellence for financial reporting across the group
* Lead and develop a small team
* Prove to be a key point of contact with external and internal stakeholder including the auditors, tax and treasury, directors and investor relations.

To be considered for this role you will need to have the following skills and experience's:-

* Qualified accountant having trained within a large audit firm
* Excellent and up to date technical accounting skills
* Experience of working in or auditing a large internationally diverse complex group
* Experience of working in or auditing a listed business
* Ability to effectively communicate across the business and externally
