A rapidly growing, listed IT services business has an exciting opportunity for an individual to join them at their HQ in central London as UK Financial Controller to deliver across all areas of accounting and finance from the day to day business support through to producing and analysing UK management reporting packs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for delivering monthly close under USGAAP and UKGAAP for all UK entities
- Drive improvement in the quality of financial results through implementing process improvements across key processes.
- Drive standardisation of processes between the UK and International entities
- Project ownership to system implementation and new accounting standards
- Liaising with external advisors in the UK to ensure that SOX compliance responsibilities are met on a monthly basis.
Candidate Profile:
- Professional accountancy qualification (i.e. ACA, CA, CPA).
- Experience in multi-national US parent organisations.
- Previous experience in the TMT services sector is strongly preferred.
- The successful candidate will be a proven people manager with experience of managing teams of 5+ people.
