Group Accountant

SF Group are currently recruiting for a Group Accountant to work for a fantastic business based in the wider Birmingham area. Main duties for this role will include:

• Preparation of group financial information annually
• Production of financial reporting
• Production of timely monthly management accounts including local and group reporting packs
• Provide expert financial reporting, FRS102 and knowledge support across the group
• Group consolidations for all entities
• Direct the preparation of the monthly forecasts and annual budgets
• Working with Finance Directors to support the profitability of the business
• Driving improvements in group processes & controls
• Assisting in any systems & IT upgrades
• Be a key focus point for auditors
• Preparation of any adhoc external and internal reporting as required by the business

This role would suit either an ACA/ACCA qualified candidate from a recognised firm or a candidate who has years of experience and can demonstrate strong reporting and ideally consolidation experience. This role will be a superb move for a candidate because:
