Our client, a worldwide American company with numerous globally recognised brands associated with it are looking to source a bright and ambitious Financial Analysis to join their growing FP&A team. Situated just a short walk from Oxford Circus station, the company offers a great working environment in which the right candidate will thrive, develop and progress whilst completing their ACCA/CIMA studies. This highly visible role reports directly into the Head of FP&A.

The ideal candidate will have a finance or numerical based degree (minimum 2:1) and be part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) with aspirations to qualify in 12-24 months. Having 2-3 years of experience within an analytical role is also essential to being successful in this role, along with having strong excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, sumifs).

Key Responsibilities:
-Work with and support the Head of FP&A and the rest of the senior team
-Preparation of budgets and forecasts for all a particular brand of the company
-Maintenance of the actuals within the forecasting software (Cognos planning)
-Be able to communicate financial matters to non-finance people
-Work collaboratively to understand drivers behind performance variances against planned expenditure
-Responsibility for intercompany reporting on central advertising revenues quarterly to all markets
-Monitoring the processing of invoices/expenses etc for the department
-Produce monthly management accounts for the brand
-Assist in strategy planning and business model development for new initiatives
-Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required

What we are looking for:
-Good academic background and a 2:1 degree or above
-ACCA/CIMA Part qualified or finalist level (Ideally first time passes to date) and expecting to complete qualification within 12-24 months
-Very strong analytical and forecasting skills working with a strategical mind-set
-Good communication skills, both written and verbal, being able to translate financial information to non-finance colleagues
-Ability to work under pressure and to changeable deadlines
