This is an excellent opportunity to join an established investment team which is rapidly expanding within their market sector with current assets of nearly £750 million.
The successful candidate must be a highly motivated, entrepreneurial and analytical person to join a high preforming team. Position would suit entrepreneurial candidates looking to further a career in investment management.
The role will require an investment analyst to assist in developing the business by identifying, analysing, researching and implementing investments and providing in‐depth market analysis.
Seeking to put in place resource to support the rapidly expanding portfolio you will work within a team to implement investments and thus obtain experience in executing and closing transactions.
Specific Tasks
- Preparation of detailed financial models for potential acquisitions of operational and consented
- projects, provision of investment analysis, due diligence and support to other members of the team
- Site visits, day to day management of acquisitions and presentation of findings
- Preparation of acquisition reports for the Investment Committee and investors
- Analysis of UK markets and prices with a view to providing regular market updates and research papers on the wider macroeconomic environment
- Ongoing analysis of transactions in order to accurately assess potential acquisitions
- Research into future new business streams
Candidates should have
1 to 3 years' experience in investment analysis, with an associated professional qualification
The ability to provide in‐depth analysis following a numerically based degree
Training will be provided to give the successful candidate
Demonstrated entrepreneurial activity on CV
Excellent communication, presentation, research and financial analysis skills

20 days holiday (increasing by 1 day each year to a maximum of 25 days) + five days study leave
Training scheme to include:
UK CFA Level 4 Investment Management Certificate or equivalent
Practical financial modelling (as and when requested).
