Hays Senior Finance is recruiting a Company Accountant for a privately owned engineering business based in Hull. It is an exciting time to be joining the business following a substantial recent contract win.
Your new role
The duties and responsibilities of the job will include the production of monthly management accounts for presentation to the directors; the production of management information including project reporting, margin analysis, and variance analysis; completion and submission of HMRC and VAT returns; managing weekly cash flow; and preparing year end accounts.
What you will need to succeed
You will be an experienced qualified or qualified by experience accountant who has ideally worked as a company accountant, finance manager, or financial controller for an SME business previously. Experience of Sage 50 would be beneficial.
