Gleeson Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a market leading multi-site business services client, who require an Accounts Payable Specialist, to join the AP team on an on-going basis.

You will be able to offer previous Accounts Payable experience, be team-focussed and be able to cope with large volumes of invoices.

Reporting to the AP Team Leader, as an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Performing day to day Accounts Payable activities

  • Processing of over 100 invoices per day
  • Handling all queries, via email, telephone and face-to-face
  • Working closely with the other AP team members
  • Review and approve all payments on a weekly basis
  • Responsible for statement reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with all processes at all times
  • Maintain a great working relationship with all internal and external contacts
  • Daily liaising with other members of the finance team

Profile as an Accounts Payable Specialist

  • Previous experience within a similar fast-paced Accounts Payable Controller role
  • Previous use of SAP or Oracle or a similar system will be highly desirable
  • Strong team player
  • Strong reconciliations experience
  • Intermediate Excel
