Your new company

Manufacturing organisation based in Glasgow, looking to recruit an Internal Auditor to join the Finance team. This position is being recruited on an initial 12 month fixed term contract basis however there is the potential to have the contract extended.

Your new role

Reporting to the FD, this is a standalone position in the role. Key responsibilities include:

• You will lead operational and financial audits across the business
• Report key findings to stakeholders, including recommendations for change
• Risk assurance projects
• Lead financial due diligence projects

You will need to travel to London one day per week.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally you will be a qualified accountant or auditor either CA/ACCA/ACA/IIA or equivalent with experience working within a similar position.

You will need be able to manage your own workload due to the standalone nature of the role. You will also need excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
