Senior Commercial Finance Analyst (FTSE 100)

Our client, a FTSE 100 organisation that continues to demonstrate stellar consumer awareness that is reflected in its innovative strategy and growth, is looking to source a top calibre Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join its highly regarded finance function. This will be a hugely visible role within the business, working cross-functionally to engage and challenge stakeholders where necessary.

You will take responsibility for supporting the Marketing function in all aspects of commercial decision making, ensuring investment consistently maximises sales and delivers effective ROI. There will be an element of project work, providing analysis on new campaigns, spend and delivering a strong finance perspective.

Main duties include:
* Involving Finance in decisions to promote the brand
* Forming strong relationships with Marketing Team, to guide their discussions on consumer initiatives and rewards
* Ensuring Central Teams are kept advised of adjustments, changes and impact on sales
* Providing sound financial appraisals, keeping a close eye on cost control and delivering ROI
* Reviewing benefits of commercial projects and undertaking ad hoc analysis for Marketing Director in relation to cost reduction of transformation projects
* Forecasting and communicating progress relevant to your area
* Assisting in the budgeting process for your business partners, as well as providing tools and training to raise commercial awareness in the Team

Key skills and experience required:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified and strong academic record to date
* Good working knowledge of Excel
* Proven track record in a business partnering/commercial capacity in a fast-paced organisation
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence decision making
* Capable of building relationships with stakeholders from varying backgrounds
* Proactive, positive approach to challenges and tasks
* Demonstrates passion, enthusiasm and creativity
