Commercial Finance Analyst

Our client, an innovative, globally recognised brand with a fantastic reputation for operating a highly progressive and supportive working culture, is looking to source an ambitious Commercial Finance Analyst to business partner with its Buying & Merchandising Team.

The role will be pivotal in supporting robust reporting, working with large volumes of data and providing insightful, value-adding recommendations and analysis that will ultimately aid decision making.

Main duties include:
* Supporting the business by producing weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting analysing trade and customer behaviour
* Accountability for some areas of the P&L on a monthly/weekly basis
* Acting as a key point of contact for the Buying and Merchandising Teams
* Ad hoc analysis looking into various areas where Ecommerce is having an impact on the stores business
* Customer behaviour analysis to help support the Online Customer Conversation team
* Driving process and Excel model simplification and consistency

Key qualifications, skills & experience required:

* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
* Strong academic record including a minimum 2:1 degree from a highly regarded institution
* Advanced Excel
* Proven track record in an analytical role, capable of working with large quantities of data and turning this into valuable insight that can be relayed to non-finance easily
* Ability to business partner cross-functionally and build relationships with a range of stakeholders
* Positive and enthusiastic approach to delivering and exceeding expectations
* Confident, likeable character with excellent communication
* Challenges others where necessary in a professional manner, in order to deliver business objectives and ensure the best commercial outcome
