Financial Analyst, Carlisle up to £30000 per annum

A well established and highly reputable Group organisation associated to the energy sector are looking to strengthen their finance team with a newly created role of Financial Analyst.

Your new role
Reporting to and supporting to the Finance Business Partner, the Financial Analyst will provide accurate and timely financial information to assist and support the business unit.

Typical duties will include:
Active involvement with the annual budget preparation
Analysis of KPI's
Variance analysis
Supporting project managers with accounting
Preparation of management accounts
Credit control
Ensuring financial transactions are recorded in a timely manner
Assist the Finance Business Partner and Directors with ad hoc financial reporting


What you'll need to succeed
Experience of working in a similar position is essential
Applications from AAT or CIMA/ACCA studiers are encouraged
Previous experience of analysing financial data and reporting in a timely manner
Excellent IT skills, knowledge of Sage and Navision is desirable
Ability to work to deadlines
Excellent communication skills
