Junior Finance Assistant

A fun, dynamic & exciting technology firm are looking to hire a Junior Finance Assistant. My client designs apps and websites for a variety of blue chip and small to medium sized businesses. The job has arisen due to a recent promotion in the team (i.e. someone stepping up in to a management position).

My client has a preference for candidates who are pursuing an accountancy qualification, i.e. ACCA or CIMA. Candidates should have 6 months - 12 months' relevant finance experience within a fast paced environment.

The role will be reporting in to the Financial Controller (FC) and the core duties include accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, expenses, credit control and payroll. The role is very progressive and you will gain more month end exposure as you grow in to the role.

You should be a very engaging, assertive and confident person. My client wants candidates who can converse with people at all levels of the business. Candidates need to be strong enough to challenge senior managers and stakeholders. The FC sits on the Board and you will be able to translate your ideas to very senior and influential members of staff.
