Senior Finance Analyst

We are currently working with an International Retail business based in London who are currently recruiting a Senior Finance Analyst to join their Commercial Finance team. Reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance the Finance Analyst will support the store leadership team and deliver financial support and planning. As an integral member of the stores leadership team, the Finance Analyst will influence decision making to ensure they achieve the Group's financial and business objectives. They will provide transparency on performance to the business through a balanced scorecard (KPI package) and improve store profitability and revenue growth by building a strong performance framework for ensuring adherence and awareness to finance plans and forecasts.

As Finance Analyst this role will take the commercial lead for new country expansion and will be part of the project group responsible for the planning and implementation of stores sales, cost base and control. They will deliver a consistent operating model for managing new country stores resource and provide input into the five year strategy for specific markets ensuring stores management are aligned to group strategy. Through strong financial guidance the Finance Analyst will support the Country Retail Director's to make informed decisions and help reduce their cost base and maximise investment returns.

This is a high profile role working within a fast-paced commercial environment and as such requires a Qualified Finance professional with an excellent academic pedigree. Experience of working within a fast-paced consumer environment would be highly desirable although they would consider an ACA Qualified looking to make their first move into industry.
