Our Client urgently requires an experienced Regional Finance Manager to join the business on a temporary assignment. The Regional Finance Manager will support the Regional Finance Director in providing financial and commercial analysis for the region. The success candidate would need strong management reporting experience, forecasting and able to meet deadlines.
Duties of the Regional Finance Manager include:
Liaise with regional board, regional senior management and central services to oversee, control and, in conjunction with the regional finance director, produce and complete management plans in accordance with strict deadlines.
Monitor regional performance against management plans.
Production of monthly forecasts including any associated analysis.
Review of monthly site overhead reports and investigation into the variances thereupon.
Monthly sales & marketing and customer care cost reviews.
Turnover & gross profit report by site
Selling price review against forecast
Overheads and variance
Assist the regional finance director in controlling general overheads, complying with Company policies, procedures and best practice at all times.
Control of capital expenditure requisitions for plant, computers and equipment.
Provision of year-end tax analysis and environmental data.
Liaise and support external auditors through the half year and year-end audit.
Assist the regional finance director in developing, controlling and implementing strategies which enable effective financial control and management of the region.
Maintain, update and support the regional financial systems and assist in their development.
Maintain land bank data in liaison with land director.
Regular chasing and reporting of outstanding sundry debtors.
Code and approve establishment cost overhead invoices.
Bank reconciliations
Prepayments and accruals
Ad hoc financial analysis.
There is opportunity for the Regional Finance Manager to convert to a permanent employee. The successful candidate would require strong attention to detail, able to work on their own initiative and multi task.
