Finance Manager

We are working with an extremely well known, fast-paced business based in Coventry to recruit a Finance Manager. After being acquired by a global leader in the industry at the end of last year, the finance team has settled into the new reporting structure and are looking to now help push the business into greater profitability. This role is paying £45K plus a great benefits package.

You will lead your small team through the period end process, put together the management accounts, prepare and present packs at board meetings where you will discuss commercial issues and complete adhoc requests from your key stakeholders. Confidence and an ability to challenge senior management is key to being able to succeed in this role. You will also be involved in pricing up tenders looking at operational costs and producing the P&L as well as sales and margin reviews.

It is essential that you have experience of manipulating large volumes of data and are well versed in the cleansing of data in Excel. It is also essential that you have a strong management accounts background and have supervisory or people management experience as you will be mentoring and developing a Management Accountant within your team. We are looking for a personable individual who will slot nicely into the wider team who can also deal with pressurised, fast-paced situations when needed.

There is great exposure within this role, you will be dealing with Directors from across the business and quite regularly with the COO too. With great exposure comes an opportunity to progress within the large finance function, both in the UK and abroad.

Package includes £45K annual salary plus up to 30% bonus, a team bonus, healthcare, competitive pension, free parking and 25 days holiday a year.
