Churchill Howard are working with one of the Region’s top employers to recruit a Divisional Finance Manager to work closely with the Senior Management Team and focus on developing and driving business performance for a c.£200m division of the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with the Operations Director to create, implement and deliver the 1 year, 3 year and 5 year strategic business plan
- Lead budgeting and forecasting process
- Provide full management accounting support; analysis, commentary, insight and advice.
- Monitor business performance and drive improvements through relevant analysis and ongoing monitoring of performance against forecast
- Finance Business Partner to Operations Director
Key requirements:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACA / ACCA)
- Construction or manufacturing background preferred; other sectors considered
- Strong business partnering ability; a natural relationship builder with credibility and gravitas – sufficient to influence at Ops Director level.
There is a requirement within the role to travel: c.60% of your time will be spent at Head Office in Birmingham and c.40% of your time at the Divisional locations: Liverpool, Manchester, Cheshire and North Wales. You will be led by business requirements but would not be expected to do frequent overnight stays.
