Source to Pay Specialist- T&E BPO required on a permanent basis

Hays Accountancy and Finance is delighted to be working for Venator, previously known as Huntsman Pigments and Additives to recruit a Source to Pay Specialist- T&E BPO to join its growing team.

The purpose of this role is to support the Source to Pay Team Lead in the successful operation of the Source to Pay process and act as a BPO for Travel and Expense claim system.

A key part of the role is the auditing of T&E claims for compliance with the Venator Travel Policy to identify potential fraud or policy violations.

Your new role
As Source to Pay Specialist- T&E BPO you will be responsible for but not limited to the following responsibilities:

• As the T&E BPO, the job holder is responsible for auditing T&E claims for compliance with the Venator Travel Policy to identify potential fraud or policy violations. The incumbent must understand Internal Controls and their effectiveness and weakness in preventing potential fraudulent transactions
• The incumbent will provide Travel & Expense training, maintain the Cornerstone Training Module and prepare training documents and procedures.
• The job holder will provide technical support, assistance and guidance to the outsourced Accounts Payable service provider and approve the Standard Operating Procedures related to the Concur application
• Participate in process improvement projects working with multifunctional teams across Venator. This will include developing a strong relationship with the Purchasing organization and other departments across Venator
• Support the delivery of quality, cost effective services encompassed by the Source to Pay process, to agreed performance targets in an environment that promotes continuous improvement. Third Level support refers to operational problems that the outsourced Accounts Payable provider is unable to resolve and needs the support of Venator personnel.
• Maintain and develop relationships with the outsourced Accounts Payable provider. Manage issues through the escalation and resolution process, escalating to the Source to Pay Team Lead where required.
• Ensure all Source To Pay business policies & processes are followed, in order to comply with internal control, segregation of duties, delegation of authority and SOX compliance.
• Provide cover for the Source to Pay Team Lead when required

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree Level Education
• You will have a minimum of five years' experience in Accounts Payable
• Experience with Concur or another Travel & Expense Claim System
• Knowledge of Internal Controls
• In depth knowledge of the relevant areas of SAP FI/CO and MM modules
• Experience resolving supplier queries, requests for payment to ensure that no action is taken against Venator due to late payment of supplier invoices
• Experience in preparing and processing of payment runs in accordance with supplier terms as well as the preparation of cash forecasts
• Experience of leading team activity
• Track record of continuous improvement and change management
• PC literacy in MS Office, particularly Excel

Preferable

• Fluent in another European language
• Working with an outsourcer
