SF Group are currently recruiting for a Senior Group Accountant to join a fantastic business based in Birmingham. The main duties of this role include:
- Supporting the monthly consolidation of the group using Cognos
- Ownership of financial reporting
- Preparation of annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
- Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts from submissions by area Financial teams
- Adherence to timetables to issue flash results and board packs
- Explain analysis of results including variances to support decision making
- Prepare analysis to provide insight into the financial performance of the business
- Consistent development of the reporting environment
- Supporting the accuracy and speed of results production
This role would suit a ACCA or ACA qualified accountant with strong experience in reporting and consolidation. This role is a brilliant position for a Group Accountant because:
