Senior Business Planning Analyst

An exceptional opportunity for a Business Planning professional with a 'can do' attitude to join an instantly recognisable brand & business which is known for being a teamwork orientated, values-led business. Based in Surrey, you will be supporting the design of a new business planning process as well as overseeing and performing analysis of strategic plans.

As the Senior Business Planning Analyst, your role will entail but not limited to the following:

  • Define and manage the integrated business planning process for all divisions of the UK business.
  • Ensure the process is aligned with the Group's process and, specifically, the Financial planning process in order
  • You will see the entire quarterly forecast process through, producing it and analysing it and as well as owning the annual budget process, you will be accountable for agreeing the associated timescales, ensuring you deliver within those timescales, with thorough analysis.
  • You will deliver a detailed management reporting pack which will provide financial insight into the overall performance.
  • Lead the successful facilitation of defining strategic priorities and other elements of the planning framework, to inform development of business area
  • Support business areas and functions in articulating three year strategic plans, investment requirements and priorities as well as 12 month operational plans and objectives (including projects and business as usual initiatives.

You will need to be a personable and analytical Qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent. It is essential that as well as having the initiative to highlight areas where you can drive change or improve a system or process, that you can communicate that effectively to senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working on projects/programmes in a change/transformation space.
