Senior Financial Accountant

A blue-chip Retail business is looking for a talented Senior Financial Accountant to manage and oversee the group's financial close, the consolidation and statutory accounting & reporting processes.

This role offers the opportunity to work for an exciting business with an exceptional culture while working closely with director-level stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage the Group close and IFRS consolidation processes
• Assist with the consolidated statutory accounting and reporting process
• Prepare the consolidated Cash Flow and Balance Sheet
• Support the implementation of processes and systems to improve and streamline activities.
• Support the GL and Consolidation Controller in Managing the Group GL structures

Personal and Professional Competencies:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience of group consolidation across a high number of entities under UK GAAP/IFRS.
• Working Knowledge of HFM (Oracle Hyperion Financial Management)
• Experience working for a complex, blue-chip, multinational organisation.
• Experience of working in a role focused on consolidations previously.
• Sociable, engaging individual with a passion for leading and inspiring others.
