Senior Accountant

Our client is an exciting, forward thinking business with a recognisable brand and exceptional UK coverage. After a recent change to their finance structure the business have identified a need to recruit a qualified Senior Accountant for a pivotal role in finance.

Sitting in the Financial Accounting team and working cross functionally with stakeholders across finance and operations, this role will take full responsibility for an exciting mix of financial reporting, controls, process improvement and technical accounting within a key area of the business. This is a deadline driven role where a hands on pro-active mindset and intuitive approach is the key to success.

The role will also manage the period end process as well as develop and implement group accounting policies, regulatory reporting and accounting standards while managing, mentoring a developing a direct report.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified ACA/ ACCA accountant with a background in audit and controls to take their career to the next level. You will ideally be a qualified accountant, trained in practice with PQE experience.
