We have a fantastic opportunity to join this rapidly growing international business based in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. Due to continued growth my client now seeks a Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA to take up responsibility as Finance Manager reporting to the Group Financial Controller.

The role would maybe appeal for someone looking to move out of a large corporate environment into a smaller role with greater scope and variety in a smaller environment, or someone already working in an SME environment.

The role requires a qualified accountant looking to take on an all-round finance role with the flexibility to be hands-on when required. This varied role will cover monthly financial and management reporting, overseeing the day to day transactional accounting and to supporting the Financial Controller with the year-end reporting and audit.

Role in detail;
*Month-end ledger close for UK and US entities including journal postings
*Consolidation of Group monthly management accounts
*Preparation of monthly management accounts pack
*Assisting with the preparation of the year end statutory accounts
*Cost centre management
*Preparation of budgets, forecasts and analysis for business managers
*Overseeing preparation of payment runs and bank payments
*Overseeing day to day accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
*Provision of support and cover for the Finance Team generally

The ideal candidate;
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
*Proven experience in a month-end reporting role including production of management accounts packs is essential
*Planning and analysis and business partnering experience desirable
*Strong excel skills
*University degree desirable
*Valid authorisation to work in the United Kingdom
