Management Accountant

Our client is a privately-owned international property group, with offices and various assets across the globe - including Britain & Ireland, the Americas and Asia Pacific. This role based in Central London will cover the regional investment & development businesses covering the ownership and development of an exceptional range of properties and locations throughout London.

Applicants must be accountancy qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CPA) with a background of strong financial, technical and reporting skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts, including variance analysis and insight into performance.
• Assist with the quarterly forecasts and annual budgets with a high degree of accuracy.
• Business partnering within to provide any commercial and other finance support required.
• Assessment of financial performance of each project - covering key issues, risks and opportunities.
• Manage the financial relationship with external business partners.
• Prepare VAT returns for corporate entities for review by the tax department and assist the tax department in the production of the annual corporation tax and CGT returns.
• Prepare the quarterly development reporting for Group.
• Follow agreed processes and identify ways to improve processes.
• Prepare the statutory accounts for specified property entities, including the transition from UK GAAP to FRS101/102, and facilitate the audit of these accounts.
