Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently recruiting for an Internal Controls and Compliance Manager to lead a brand new team within an International Logistics Business in the West Midlands.
This is an ideal role for an experienced internal auditor ready to work in a senior role, reporting directly to the FD of UK operations.
Duties will include:
Develop and analyse internal control plans which meet the requirements of the Group to include:
Minimising financial risks for the company
Effectiveness and efficiency of operations
Managing the integrity of financial data
Assure compliance with laws and regulations
Safeguarding of assets
Support the integration of relevant group policy documents into the UK business, ensuring appropriate and relevant controls and governance exists
Responsible for coordinating activities relating to the Compliance Management System (CMS) in the company
Support the Business Unit Compliance Office in connection with the implementation of the Group Compliance Management System
Actively support and promote compliant conduct - Submit quarterly compliance reports about compliance incidents- The role will report directly into the Finance Director of UK Mail
Profile
We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
- Excellent communication, report writing, presentation, time management, influencing skills
- Ability to interact/liaise with senior management
- Previous exposure to internal auditing desired
- Previous exposure to Risk Management desired
- Suitable applicants from either practice or industry shall be considered for this position
Salary and Benefits
£38,000 - £45,000 + bonus + 25 days holiday. After 24 months the likelihood is you will be promoted internally within the finance function.
