Commercial Finance Manager

Currently recruiting for a interim Commercial Finance Manager for a growing FMCG/Manufacturing company based in Surrey.

The main purpose of the role is to act as the main point of contact within the Commercial Finance Team, as well as Business Partnering with the Senior National Account Managers & Account Controllers.

The role is to:

• Provide both financial leadership and sound judgement in the formulation of strategic initiatives to strengthen and grow the Business in line with the 5 year strategy.
• As well as providing key financial guidance and insight to the commercial team they must bring a wider strategic and commercial acumen thus helping the team make informed, added value decisions.
• Challenge and influence the Commercial teams on customer and brand volume and margin assumptions
• Develop and drive the brand and promotional strategies within the retailers
• Challenge and develop the current process and methodologies and push for continuous improvement
• Own and support specific cross functional strategic projects
• Ensure all data is accurately captured in the relevant systems and on a timely basis
• Own the delivery of the account profitability in partnership with the senior commercial team
• Support the Finance Business Partner and Finance Controller in the development of the Finance and IBP functions.
• Provide leadership and development to other analysts in the team
