Following continued growth, our client, a successful and dynamic FMCG business, is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to work in their Mid Kent offices. Reporting to the Head Office Financial Controller in London, this role will be heavily involved in the financial analysis and reporting for the business, including the UK factory and will take responsibility for the following:
Candidates will be part or fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA) and possess management accounting experience within a manufacturing environment. Strong Excel skills and systems skills will be essential, together with the ability to partner with the business and build strong relationships with operational and commercial teams. A proven ability to challenge the numbers and seek efficiencies will also be a key requirement together with ambition, enthusiasm and strong problem solving skills.

- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including associated commentary and variance analysis
- KPI reporting, including profitability, stock, sales and factory performance
- Product costing for existing and new products and reviewing new tenders
- Identifying efficiencies, process improvements and cost saving potential
- Heavily involved in the annual budgeting process
- CAPEX review and analysis
- Ad-hoc reporting and project based work
