Job Title: Finance Director
Reporting to: Managing Director

Job Purpose: To control the company's finances
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)

Key Result Areas:
a) Ongoing management of the Accounts team in order to provide an effective and efficient resource

Measures:
- Monthly reports presented to Management Meetings
- Feedback from other Leadership Team members
- Staff utilisation meets agreed levels
- Performance reviews conducted
- Feedback from Staff

b) Prepare and produce the monthly management accounts and other ad hoc financial reports to provide the senior management team with accurate, up to date financial information.
Measures:
 Feedback from Senior Management team
 Feedback from the auditors

c) Regular monitoring of job and client profitability, including ongoing projects, to provide forecasts and strategic advice to the leadership team.

 Feedback from Senior Management team
 Feedback from the MD

d) Lead a weekly meeting with Heads of Teams to support them in producing monthly sales forecasts and labour utilisation statistics

 Feedback from the Senior Management team
 Meetings take place on agreed basis

e) Organise and chair internal Management Meetings to ensure the meetings take place and that agendas and minutes are generated.

 Feedback from the Senior Management team
 Evidence of agendas and minutes
 Meetings take place on agreed basis

f) Produce the End of Year Accounts in an appropriate format to satisfy the internal, auditors and statutory requirements.
Measures:
 No penalties from HMRC
 Feedback from the auditors
 Feedback from the senior management team

g) Produce the annual budget for each department in liaison with each head of division and consolidate into an overall budget to provide information for the leadership team.
Measures:
 Feedback from the senior management team
 Annual budget produced

h) Manage the relationship with the Accountants, Insurance providers and the Bank in order to ensure Our client obtains the best possible service at the lowest possible cost.

 Feedback from the MD
 Feedback from the providers

i) Provide leadership in the development of our use of Paprika, assisting with training users and on-going support

 Feedback from the MD
 Feedback from the senior management team

j) Produce cash flow forecasts and monitor the Company cash position to assist in ensuring appropriate funds are available to meet the needs of the business.
Measures:
 Cash flow forecasts produced on time
 All concerns brought to the attention of the MD

k) Participate as a member of the senior management team in order to assist in developing the strategic direction of the overall business.
Measures:
 Feedback from other Leadership team members
 Participation in team meetings
