We are currently recruiting the role of a Cost Accountant for an international manufacturing business based in Basildon, Essex.
Working with the Financial Controller your role will be to set budgets and record the costs of operations for this global organisation.
Responsibilities include:
- Budgeting, cost management, performance evaluation and asset management
- Collect and analyse various data for raw materials, inventory and labour
- Analyse actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
- Assist the finance team with full month end process, provisions, reconciliations, etc
The candidate:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience
- Experience within a manufacturing environment essential
- Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
- The ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of accounting fundamentals
