Management Accountant

Our client is a very successful media business, growing throughout the UK and they require a commercially focused Management Accountant, working with all areas of the business, finance and non finance colleagues to understand Group Revenues and provide analysis and insight for the business to enable remedial action as required, you will be looking a wind range of revenue streams and digital output.  

This broad based role requires a commercially focused accountant, with the ability to provide a pro active approach, working closely with General Managers of divisions, as well as providing budgets, forecasts and ad hoc analysis.

Managing a small team, key responsibilities of this high profile role will include:-

Preparation of management accounts and analysis;

working with the business to provide variance analysis against budgets and forecasts;

Generally assist with the accounting and controls around the Division.  

The ideal candidate is either a qualified Accountant  or a late stage finalist  with a good exam record and a good commercial understanding of accounting and its application in an international  commercial business. 

This is a high profile role - so you must be capable of providing insightful analysis in a complex fast paced business. You will possess excellent communication skills and you must be able to demonstrate a keen intellect;  with the capacity to progress in a fast paced organisation.
