I am currently working with a very exciting FMCG company based on the outskirts of Ashford. They are looking to recruit a Management Accountant who will be in charge of setting up and overseeing the whole Management Accounting Function for the company. This is a really exciting opportunity
Some of the responsibilities for the role will include:
The ideal candidate for this role will be a dynamic and entrepreneurial Management Accountant with a background in either FMGC or Manufacturing. Ideally you would be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA), but they are also willing to consider Finalists and candidates that are QBE, especially if you have a relevant background.

Some of the responsibilities for the role will include:
- Analysing and commentary of monthly management accounts and investigation of variances.
- Management reporting on profitability, sales, stock and factory performance on a monthly and weekly basis.
- Producing and reporting on annual budgets for the business.
- Providing financial support to Commercial & Operational Management
- Reviewing Operational KPIs (including labour efficiency and material variances)
- Providing product costings for all existing/on-going products, and new products / tenders.
- Analysing and presenting CAPEX and OPEX applications.
- Identifying areas for cost savings.
- Learning the ERP system in order to help support the factory in continuous development.
- Assessing and updating overhead recovery rates.
- Assisting in the negotiation of operational contracts
- Creating and analysing ad-hoc reports to support Department Heads
