Financial Controller

The Company
Our client is an international bank who we are supporting in requirement for a Chief Accountant with previous knowledge of the banking industry. Its an exciting time to join this growing bank and enjoy a varied role.

The Role
* Reviewing accounting, tax, regulatory & control reports and investigating any anomalies. * Cover for review of EBA/PRA/BoE and Head Office returns
* Reviewing and/or assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts package.
* Reviewing or preparing budgets and Head Office plans.
* Responsible for all taxation matters.
* Prepare financial, management and regulatory reports
* Responsible for IFRS 9 deliverables from accounting perspective.

The Person
* ACA/CIMA/ACCA
* Strong experience gained within the banking industry required
* Good communication
* Previous finance management, financial control or head of financial accounts experience
