The Company

We are currently working in partnership with a household name in retail. Due to their continued success, a restructure in their finance team has created a new role for an experienced Treasury Team Leader to lead their cash and banking activities.


The Role

Managing a small team, you will ensure that all relevant bank accounts, sales ledgers, control accounts and balance sheet accounts are accurately maintained and reconciled. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running and professional development of the team.

• Resolve queries and ensure deadlines are achieved ensuring all cash statement balances are inputted to the finance system
• Support the team with the preparation and posting of journals to resolve incorrect entries
• Investigate any discrepancies, raise queries and resolve any reconciliation issues impacted by the weekly cashflow statement
• Enhance and improve current operational processes focusing on streamlining and ensuring efficiency, implementing necessary changes for process development
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to effectively build relationships to identify and meet those departments and clients' requirements

The Candidate

To be successful in this position you will need experience in a similar role and have ideally worked in an environment where you have managed high volumes, whilst also motivating others and assuring high standards. The successful applicant will have good problem solving and presentation skills and you would be the type of individual that works well in a busy, KPI focused and change environment. You would also have strong experience of Excel (pivot tables & lookups).
