Financial Accountant - Property
Our client is a household name company and a market leader in it's field.
Working within the financial reporting team you will be responsible for accounting for rent as well involvement in other areas including statutory accounts, corporation tax and VAT returns. You will be involved with:
- Ensuring management accounts reflect accurate charges
- Reconcile the relevant balance sheet accounts on a monthly / quarterly basis
- Working with the property team, ensure that all costs are correctly accounted for.
- Prepare management information for inclusion in the budgets and re-forecasts.
- Liaise directly with suppliers on procurement, invoice queries and operational issues.
You will have some experience of property accounting (rent, service charges etc.), sound bookkeeping skills and the ability to meet deadlines and work flexibly. You will have a down to earth approach, the ability to use your own initiative and work effectively with other departments.
