An outstanding Project Accountant job opportunity has arisen working for an international insurance organisation based in the Thames Valley. Currently, there are numerous improvements being made to finance operations, including implementation a new ERP finance systems as well as other development projects. Due to the ongoing projects, the organisation is hiring a Project / Systems Accountant on an 18-24 month Fixed Term Contracted (FTC), with potential of a permanent opportunity arising over time.

As Project / Systems Accountant will be responsible for providing support to the implementation of new ERP and administration for the organisation's existing ERP system during the transition period, as well as ensuring continuous improvement to systems and processes so that they are efficient for the business. If successful, you will also play a lead role in the implementation of the new system.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Previous experience implementing, supporting and maintaining a finance system or ERP in a similar role.
• An Accountancy Qualification (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) is highly desirable.
• The ability to extract, manipulate and reviewing large amounts of data to a high level of accuracy.
• Advanced Excel skills (including macros, pivot tables and sub-procedures in VBA)
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
