Currently recruiting for a Contract Analyst role based in Warwick. You will have previous analytical experience and want to progress within a growing business. This is a permanent role paying £35,000 -£38,000 for the right candidate.
Roles and responsibilities include:
- Analyse and discuss with the relevant external and internal stakeholders in order to ensure the timely production of all supporting documentation, month end adjustments and tracking documents in line with Company's accounting processes and practices
- Analyse monthly preliminary financial statements, to identify necessary adjustments and accruals based on the monthly follow up of the relevant contract. taking account of specific commercial activities and proactively anticipate and/or explain monthly and periodic accounts performance in absolute and comparative (plans, forecasts, etc.) terms for selected operational contracts
- Timely provide all necessary weekly, monthly, or as commercially established, documentation for Central Financial Department to process invoicing, payroll, accruals & pre-payments, assets and cash management
- Develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with all management and colleagues across Operations and the Central Functions
- Critically evaluate performance and processes within Operating Contracts and identify and encourage improvement and best practice where applicable
- Support management within Operations with Navision application and development of forecasts and budgets within their areas of responsibility, fully in accordance with the Central Financial Department Directives and deadlines
- To support the Central Financial Department in providing relevant training activities in administrative areas such financial and commercial aspects of contracts as well as personnel costs tracking and analysis to operational personnel
- Timely provide all necessary investment details to the corresponding Management Accountant and support him/her in the development and completion of the corresponding Corporate Approval Request package
- Support and carry out ad hoc projects within the Commercial Executions Function as requested by the Head of Commercial Executions, in accordance and with the support of Site Management and Central Financial Department
- Work with key internal stakeholders to prioritise business and information needs and to provide insight to the business to aid forward looking decision making
- Gather data from multiple sources to help fill data gaps, including resolving inconsistent data
- Support the preparation, production and consolidation of weekly KPI reporting and monthly/quarterly forecast and annual budget reporting
