Corporate Finance Executive

An exciting opportunity for an ACCA or ACA qualified (or nearly qualified) candidate has arisen to join an expanding, dynamic Corporate Finance function based at my clients office on the outskrts of chester.

This a role for a commercially aware accountant who thrives on understanding how a business ticks - you will enjoy engaging with owners of businesses and senior management in order to provide honest and true advice and support to a host of queries and demands.

The role will act as No.2 to the partner and will have full oversight and contribution toward a host of corporate finance services. The role will have involvement in transactional support engagements including financial modelling, due diligence, business sales and acquisitions, forecasting, general liaising with clients, funders and intermediaries.

My client is open minded about the profile/ background of the applicant. for example you might be:

• Currently in Audit, and qualified but looking at getting closer to businesses and moving away from P&L accounting in a real added value scenario.
• You may have worked in a value add capacity such as restructuring, and looking to broaden your skill-set.
• You may already have DD or advisory experience but are looking for a better work-life balance rather than working in the big cities of Manchester or liverpool

Whatever the background, the ideal candidate will be enthusiastic with strong verbal communication skills, excellent report writing skills and commercial acumen with a willingness to support the Partners and other stakeholders in the Practice.

The successful candidate should be prepared to follow the work and opportunities wherever they present themselves and be willing to go the extra mile.
