This global IT and consultancy business are looking to appoint an experienced Payroller to deal with executive level payroll and associated tasks. Based in City Centre Liverpool you will be responsible for providing all round support to executives and stakeholders.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Primary contact for management payroll.
  • Handle payslip, tax and NI related queries from senior client stakeholders.
  • Ownership of HR and Payroll records of management group employees
  • Work with various stakeholders during on-boarding, off-boarding and employee data changes of management group employee
  • Direct interaction with HR Service support Team; full review of data entry/payslip/payroll reports to ensure accuracy of monthly payroll and adherence to payroll compliance framework
  • Handle scheduled payroll activities and ensure timely delivery of all such activities
  • Work with various internal teams and 3rd parties on issue resolution. Provide regular updates on the issues to key stakeholders and requestors
  • Providing useful advice for planning ahead e.g. Implications of using an emergency tax code/part month calculations/increase to salary or benefits
  • Support internal teams with complex payroll/tax/NI related queries and handle escalation. Ensure the issues are closed on priority
  • Work with different internal and external teams to manage International Assignee's payroll
  • Work closely with the HR system's SME on the HR and Payroll system changes. Provide support during planning and system testing
  • Handle scheduled and ADHOC payroll related projects
  • Link in with internal teams and 3rd parties regarding international assignee payroll and queries (tax/ICS/LTIP/Salary & Bonus Review/Self-Assessment/assisting with preparation for tax returns)

 

Other requirements

  • MCIPPdip / CIPP certification preferred
  • Should have handled Director's and Management payroll
  • Should have experience in stakeholder management
  • Should have excelled communication skills
  • Experience in SAP Payroll and HR module
  • Should have excelled analytical and problem solving skills
