Chief Financial Accountant

Your new company
I am working with a NHS trust in north Manchester in order to recruit an interim chief financial accountant. The organisation is implementing a number of new systems and processes and need some a technical accountant to take a lead from a finance perspective for 4 months.

Your new role
You will Plan and monitor delivery to ensure the Trust's Statutory Accounts, ensure compliance with IFRS and Monitor's Annual Reporting Manual. You will also lead on the implementation a new ledger system. Other key responsibilities include capital accounting, managing systems and NHSI returns.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with a background in the NHS. You will have a technical understanding of NHS year-end accounting and capital accounting. If you have lead on an implementation previously it would be beneficial.
