Management Accountant

Management Accountant (Part Qualified  ACCA or CIMA) - Expanding Retail Business

A newly created role of Management Accountant has arisen within an expanding retail company based in West London. The Management Accountant will play an integral part in the continual development of the business and will operate on a highly visible level.

The Management Accountant will report into the Finance Director and responsibilities will  be broad and varied, including:

- preparation of management accounts and consolidated reports for the UK entity

- assisting the FD with budgeting, forecasts and variance analysis

- managing the year end process with outsourced providers

- audit planning 

- working closely with the shared service centre

- recommending improvements for reporting and financial control

- maintenance of appropriate control systems

- ad hoc projects in line with business expansion

Applicants for this Management Accountant role must be part qualified ACCA or CIMA with a university degree and at least 1 year of management accounting experience. The company will provide study support for the continuation of professional exams. You will have proven experience in the field of accounting and finance ideally with previous Tech or retail background although not essential. To succeed in this environment, the individual must be results driven with a positive and can do attitude, somebody that is willing and able to enhance their own professional development in tandem with the anticipated growth of the company. More responsibilities will be delegated as the individual develops their skills.Last but not least the Management Accountant must be somebody that is outgoing, energetic and confident working with people at different levels and in different departments. A sense of humour is also a must!
