We have an amazing opportunity to join a growing, award-winning International Artist Management business as a Finance Assistant, reporting to the Finance Manager and the Managing Director and having day to day contact with tour management, artist managers and coordinators.

The crux of the role is to provide financial support to the senior accounts staff, working across all accounting functions within the business. In this varied role, you will be responsible for providing a high level of transactional work on cashbooks, and the purchase and sales ledgers and administrative tasks to support the business. This also includes management of the processes and systems for timely accounting for expenses and credit card expenditure, setting up new clients, processing supplier invoices, bank and supplier reconciliations and assistance in the month end procedures and tasks to support the department.

Through accuracy and first rate communication skills, you will ensure exceptional service consistency to both internal and external stakeholders at all times, in a professional, confident and efficient manner. The company offer an excellent workplace and environment and have a competitive benefits package. We are hoping to hear from pro-active, driven and ambitious individuals with a can-do attitude, that are excited to work in a growing business, playing a key part in the Future of The Arts on a global scale.

You will possess at least two years' experience in a similar role, preferably in an SME where you have had exposure to a wide range of accounting activities, you can clearly demonstrate experience in double entry bookkeeping and your responsibility for bank reconciliations and ledger management. You are a strong communicator that will build rapport and maintain contact with artists, colleagues across the business and management in a professional and friendly manner.

Our preference is to speak to candidates that have already gained their AAT Qualifications, or are studying with another recognised accountancy qualification, with relevant experience. Experience with Sun accounts will give you a distinct advantage and Strong MS Excel skills are a necessity. Fluency in another European language is also desirable.
