Our client, a well respected and established business based in Mid Kent are looking to recruit a Financial planning Manager. Reporting into the Finance Director and managing an Analyst, the Financial Planning Manager will take responsibility for the business planning activities of the company and provide sound analysis and management information to assist with the commercial decision making process. The role will be accountable for the following tasks:
Candidates will be formally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and possess strong commercial finance experience together with a solid understanding of the financial accounting behind a successful business. Individuals will have excellent communication and business partnering skills alongside a pro-active approach, first class numerical skills and the ability to influence a business. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking for commercial exposure and the opportunity to progress within a successful business.

- Co-ordinating the planning and analysis process, including forecasting and budgeting
- Production of key management information, including KPIs to assess business targets and performance
- Developing and reviewing investment appraisals including associated financial modelling
- Analysis of historic business trends, providing insight to the business to assist with key decision making
- Assessing and reacting to risks and opportunities
- Providing financial support and advice to the business and partnering with cost centre managers
- Working with the wider finance function, understanding the P&L and balance sheet
