A rare opportunity for an Interim Finance Director to join a highly regarded Pharmaceuticals business is now live.
Our client, based in Colchester, Essex is seeking a commercially minded and practical finance professional to join them for 9-12 months.
Over the course of this contract, the Interim Finance Director will be tasked with leading the finance team and successfully overseeing the finance function of the business, as well as managing key projects as they arise. The business has ambitious future plans and the Interim Finance Director will support these in coming to fruition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver an exemplary accounting service to the business
- Lead and drive forward important financial projects
- Drive business strategy and provide key financial insight to support this area
- Manage the finance department
- Cash flow & profit forecasting
- Manage production of all relevant reports, including monthly accounts, shareholders reports, bi-annual reports and weekly forecasts
- Cultivate productive working relationships with stakeholders
- Oversee planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Review and report on company performance
- Strengthen current financial systems and implement new procedures
This role is ideal for somebody with experience across the accounting spectrum. The successful individual will be driven and motivated, with a dynamic personality that encourages those around them to succeed.
Exceptional accounting skills are a must and the successful candidate will also possess an innate ability to communicate with people across the business, from senior leadership to external stakeholders.
5+ years’ experience, an accountancy qualification and a proven track record of success are essential.
