Group Credit Controller

My Bradford based client is looking to appoint a Credit Controller to support their Nationwide Credit Control function.  They are a well-established business with well over 100 years within their industry and they have grown to become the market leaders in the UK.

The Role:

• Chasing debt by telephone and email
• Reducing debtor days.
• Establishing and regularly reviewing credit limits
• Processing and generating statements.
• Working with the sales and accounts receivable teams to resolve outstanding queries in a timely fashion
• Ensure key accounts work to the agreed payment terms
• Daily and month end reporting and account reconciliations
• Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices.
• Working to strict monthly and annually collections targets.  
• Visiting customers to discuss credit facilities and credit limit requirements
• Attend Management meetings

The Successful Candidate:

• A good understanding of company accounts 
• ICM qualification or a desire to progress current studies
• Experienced credit controller working within large teams
• Result orientated and target driven
