Management Accountant

Reed Finance are a sole supplier to an instantly recognisable company in the search for a Management Accountant in Warrington.

Based in Warrington, and reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be a key finance contact for the operational teams on site. We are looking for a driven and motivated candidate or who is eager to take the next step in their career. This would be a fantastic role for an aspiring ACCA/CIMA accountant. You will be required to build strong relationships with these key operational contacts, and will require ad hoc travel to these sites to facilitate this. The company are able to offer a base salary of upto £35,000, along with a raft of company benefits.

Other responsibilities include;

- Support to Heads of Finance and operational management in external meetings/negotiations and provide financial analysis to support contract negotiations.
- Prepare monthly management accounts for inclusion in consolidated pack and individual service packs in
accordance with deadlines and provide timely and insightful financial analysis and commentary
- Identify, highlight, investigate and help resolve key financial issues, including old debts, cash flow, management
of balance sheet - accruals/deferred revenue/balance sheet recs etc).
- Take lead of preparation of rolling monthly forecasts in conjunction with Head of Finance
- Provision of support to bid team and responding to information requests as required.
- Provide financial support to mobilisation of new services, getting involved at an early stage to ensure key financial issues are identified up front.
- Preparation of year end pack to allow completion of statutory accounts & tax calculations by the Finance Control Team.
